Peace TV was put in the spotlight by Bangladeshi media after reports that attackers involved in the killing of 22 people, including 18 foreigners, at a Dhaka cafe on July 1 were inspired by the channel's founder Zakir Naik. Khan said the investigators were also probing Naik's financial transactions in Bangladesh. The shootout occurred yesterday afternoon outside the Berrien County courthouse in St Joseph, Michigan, in which the two bailiffs were killed, Sheriff Paul Bailey said, adding the suspect attacker was also gunned down, CNN said. and served in the United States Army. The man accused of calling 911 and then shooting the Valdosta police officer who responded to the call Friday morning has been identified as 22-year-old Stephen Paul Beck, formerly of Kennesaw. Officer Hancock is white and Beck, his arrested assailant, is Asian. Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress told the AP that his officer was wearing a body camera that is being reviewed by the GBI. Joseph Zangaro, one of the two bailiffs shot and killed by an inmate who went on a rampage inside a MI courthouse, was a retired police officer who was chief of security at the courthouse, according to The Detroit Free Press .
