Mr Trump initially deleted the tweet on Saturday before tweeting a similar image in which the star was replaced with a circle. It was later discovered that Trump's controversial tweet also appeared on a white supremacist website. Trump told an OH audience on Wednesday that he regretted his campaign's decision to scrub the image from his account. "Where is the outrage for this Disney book?" the Republican candidate wrote on his twitter , in a rare full sentence. (more...)

The U.S. Justice Department has opened a civil rights investigation into the shooting. The rally outside the police building was at times tense again, as protesters faced off against police dressed in riot gear. "In times like this, they actually have the strongest voices against violence in the community". If the House does not pass the bill in its current form next week, the bill could still pass before Vermont's government starts enforcing its own mandatory GMO labeling law, which requires an on-package statement , on January 1. This gives S. 764 a window to reverse the more strict mandatory labeling law.
