The separatists have called for a valley-wide shutdown till Monday to protest against Wani's killing. Protests erupted after the killing leading to clashes between civilians and security forces. Tens of thousands of people, mostly civilians, have died in the fighting since 1989. The Government promised to investigate if there was any instance of disproportionate use of force by security forces even as it appealed to the people not to become tools in the machinations of instigators of ...
