Researchers have uncovered a malware-infected.apk version of Pokémon Go for Android that could potentially infect the phones of those downloading the game outside of the Google Play Store . Users who don't have official access to the game where they live could go to third-party stores and get the infected versions in the process. Proofpoint warns users about an APK file that disguises itself as a real Pokémon GO app, which in reality installs a backdoor called DroidJack. (more...)
