There's absolutely nothing wrong with the press covering that, of course, and I would even go so far as to say that it's nearly as newsworthy as Trump's blacklist. Trump has been a consistent critic of the media during his campaign; at one rally this summer, he pointed to the press pen and told supporters that the media was "the lowest form of humanity". The hurricane center said Saturday evening that the storm would "meander slowly offshore of the mid-Atlantic coast for the next couple of days before churning past New Jersey and NY". Meteorologist Jeff Smith says the track of the storm system pulled it a little farther east overnight, making the threat of coastal flooding more moderate than previously expected, though beach closures will still be necessary due to hazardous rip currents and wave action. It was then that Kalas reports seeing another large group of tourists headed toward the 7 foot by 10 foot duckbill rock. Authorities say they are reviewing the OR incident to determine how best to respond.
