As a guru of quarterbacks, O'Brien has kept a reasonably close eye on Garoppolo and Brissett also. The Patriots have said that he may be a game-time decision, but it's unclear how true that is. New England is going to be without Tom Brady (obviously) and now Jimmy Garoppolo looks to be banged up as well. Jimmy Garoppolo is still recovering from a shoulder injury he sustained during Sunday's game against Miami. (more...)

I have it. I know I have it. In the video, Bosh believes he is healthy and ready to play again. The Heat clearly are not comfortable with this and, while they are willing to welcome him to camp, they have not cleared him to play. Even so, he has yet to be fully cleared by the Heat's medical staff. Peterson was hurt after a 5-yard run in the third quarter against Green Bay. The 31-year-old back has struggled through two games this season, picking up just 50 yards on 31 attempts. The Vikings haven't given up on their chase for a championship, though. He missed all but one game in 2014 after being suspended for an indictment on child abuse charges. (more...)

It is a loud crowd in Flushing Meadows. The U.S. Open is the only major at which Tsonga has not reached the semifinals.
