It's official. Gymnast Simone Biles is heading to Rio 2016 where her remarkable athleticism and crowd-pumping routines are poised to make her the breakout star of the Olympic games. "She goes to bed at, like, 8:30, and she's like, 'Simone , quiet down!' And I'm like, 'Aly, it's 8:30!" Warriors star Draymond Green faces misdemeanor assault claim

Green was released on a bond of $200 bond and will be arraigned on July 20. A statement released by the Warriors Monday read: "We are aware of news involving Draymond Green in MI over the weekend". It's a potential misdemeanor charge for assault , and USA Today reports Green faces a maximum of 93 days in jail and a $500 fine. ESPN reported that Green was arrested at a restaurant and that the victim was a man. (more...)

Two strokes in front heading into the final round at Castle Stuart Golf Links, Noren was briefly caught in a tie at the top before pulling away with two birdies in the last seven holes to card a two-under-par 70. Andrea Leadsom , the country's energy minister, abandoned her campaign just days after she was voted by Conservative lawmakers to be one of two contenders to campaign for the keys to 10 Downing Street. The new leader was originally scheduled to be chosen by 150,000 Conservative Party members on September 9. She turned 100 on Thursday. Swihart, batting.258/.365/.355 with five RBIs in 19 games this season, has missed 29 games and last played June 4. Despite Ronaldo being relegated to the sideline, Portugal wound up winning its first European title thanks to an incredible goal by Eder in the 109th minute. It just seemed to take so much out of them and the end product wasn't there at the Stade de France . It was boring and stodgy at times but the record books will only show that Portugal went from third-place in its group to champion, with little help from Ronaldo in its last match. (more...)

Peter Sagan finished fourth on the stage, just behind Frenchman Bryan Coquard, to maintain his grip on the race leader s yellow jersey.
