The Centers for Disease Control say tick-borne illnesses have tripled in the USA and Wisconsin is among the states with the most reported cases of these diseases. The CDC also says that seven new tick-borne germs that can affect people were found during the same time period. Another reason he said scientists believe the disease is growing is climate change. Britain's Court of Appeal on Wednesday rejected a new bid by the parents of terminally ill toddler Alfie Evans to take him to Italy and continue his life support against the wishes of his doctors and judges. In January of this year, she was told her cancer was terminal and was given six to 12 months to live. Ms Phelan underwent a smear test in 2011 and was told that no abnormalities were found.
