Nissan's next CEO an expert deal-maker with low profile

In a statement , Ghosn said "I am confident that the management team I have developed at Nissan over the past 18 years has the talent and experience to meet the company's operational and strategic goals". Given how quickly the decision to step down follows on Saikawa's installation as co-CEO late previous year, it seems that things have been going well enough with regard to that move that Ghosn doesn't see a need to stay on. Stocks slip from record highs as energy firms fall

Energy and industrial companies are slipping and technology stocks, which have risen every day in February, are also down. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note fell to 2.42 percent from 2.43 percent late Tuesday. Bristol-Myers stock traded at $75 in early August but has plunged as investors worry that its lung cancer drug Opdivo will lose sales to other treatments. (more...)

Flights start taking off this summer. Norwegian will have " quite a few thousand seats for that specific fare ", Lars Sande, Norwegian's senior vice president of sales, told Bloomberg . The twice weekly flights from Shannon to Stewart International in NY state will operate on a Wednesday and Sunday - with fares from €69 - and connections from Shannon to Providence Airport will operate Monday and Friday. "Our intention was to proceed on a friendly basis, but it was made clear Unilever did not wish to pursue a transaction".
