Forza Horizon 4 demo available now

Microsoft and Playground Games have revealed - via an official Microsoft store page - that a demo for Forza Horizon 4 will be released later today.

Players who own the James Bond Car Pack in Forza Horizon 4 will also receive some in-game Bond goodies, including two Bond outfits as well as six exclusive "Quick Chat" phrases for use in multiplayer. Those who buy the Ultimate Edition of the game can play four days early on September 28.

Forza Horizon 4 is now slated to launch on October 2, so we're just under three weeks away from release day. Weighing in at just under 28GB the demo should provide a good feel for the full game which will launch alongside an impressive 450 cars. For this console generation, Forza Horizon 3 game also continues to claim the highest Metascore (91) for a Microsoft Studios title on Metacritic, and its Hot Wheels expansion released in 2017 also received critical acclaim. Take a tour of attractive, historic Britain in the demo, which will give fans a healthy heaping of open-world gameplay to enjoy.

As in weather, with the demo showcasing as per the description everything from "the ice and snow of winter time to the blazing summer heat".

The pack is included as part of the Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition. Those include the revolving license plate and bumper rams of '64 Aston Martin DB5, as well as the submersible kit for for '77 Lotus Esprit S1. Similar to Forza Motorsport 7, Microsoft pushes dynamic seasons in Forza Horizon 4 as well. Given Forza Horizon 4's United Kingdom setting, 007 getting involved isn't too surprising, but still, it's a nice treat for Bond fanatics and Anglophiles.
