Once Upon a Time in Hollywood first look: Margot Robbie's Sharon Tate

Margot Robbie Spot-On As Sharon Tate In First Look At Quentin Tarantino Movie

Robbie's expression nails the Sharon Tate look as she leans against a yellow stage door. "That's mostly down to her looking a lot like Tate to begin with - the two share the same blonde hair, blue eyes, and 5'6" stature - but it may also be a testament to Robbie's ability to blur the line between herself and the people she plays on screen.

Margot Robbie has given fans their first look of her as murdered actress Sharon Tate in upcoming Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

This is the same year that Sharon became one of five victims of Charles Manson and his cult, who broke into her home and stabbed her and her friends to death.

Wearing a black turtleneck, white mini skirt and white go-go boots, Robbie is the spitting image of the late star.

Tarantino's movie, which features Leonardo DiCaprio as Rick, an actor, and Brad Pitt as his stunt double, Cliff, was originally slated to come out on August 9, 2019.

The film, which is due for release in 2019, is centred around the "Manson Family" murders of 1969.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is slated to arrive in theaters on July 26, 2019.

Tarantino, according to the company, is calling the movie "a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood".

'Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don't recognize anymore.

The A-list cast also includes Al Pacino as DiCaprio's character's agent, Burt Reynolds, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Emile Hirsch, Dakota Fanning, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, and Nicholas Hammond.

However, Sharon Tate's sister Debra has said she is "very happy" that the release date is being shifted away from the anniversary of her sibling's murder, according to the New York Daily News.
