The phones sport screens with 18:9 aspect ratios, 4,000mAh batteries, and ship with Android 8.1.

Probably the biggest is the chipset - the Evolve is powered up by Snapdragon 450, while its twin holds the more powerful Snapdragon 660, which happens to be one of the best mid-range chipsets out on the market at the moment. The BlackBerry KEYone was launched with Android 7.1 Nougat but it's upgradeable to Android 8.1 Oreo. The company will be selling its own wireless charging accessory of course but if you still prefer to plug in, the Quick Charge 3.0 is on offer.

The BlackBerry Evolve featured with vertically placed dual camera sensors and dual-tone LED flash on the back side. Rounding out the list of features that the Evolve and Evolve X share are their big 4000mAh batteries. The Evolve, on the other hand, features a 13MP + 13MP dual rear cameras.

No word from BlackBerry whether these phones will make their way stateside, but don't count on it.

The lesser model comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 4GB RAM.

Earlier this year, we heard some rumblings about a new full-touch BlackBerry phone that would be India.

"Both smartphones are quite similar in terms of specification, with a 5.99" Full HD+ (2 160 X 1 080) display, 16 MP front-facing camera, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and 4 000mAh battery.

There is a 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage present in the phone along with micro SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB external storage. Both have apertures of f/2.0. It will available exclusively via Amazon India.

Both the phones have got the fingerprint sensor which can unlock the device at about 0.3 seconds. The phone also supports wireless charging option and users will get wireless charging adapter in the box package. It'll cost Rs. 24,990 ($365) when it lands next month.

"These devices have features of a flagship at an affordable price and come with the security features that is synonymous with BlackBerry", he said.
