Juve Target: I Want To Leave Man Utd

Maguire was impressive with England at the World Cup this summer

Harry Maguire, fresh from a strong showing for England at the World Cup, to Manchester United, a team many felt were light of a decent centre-half or two.

The Old Trafford outfit play German champions Bayern Munich in their final pre-season friendly on August 5 before hosting Leicester in the opening league match on August 10.

"Matteo wants to leave and I think when a player wants to leave, if the right offer arrives you have to try to be human and let the player follow his instinct but not at any price", Mourinho said, via Sky Sports.

As with all English clubs, the earlier close to the transfer window this summer is causing United problems and there is a decent chance they will not be able to force Leicester to sell Maguire and will not be able to find a buyer for Darmian either.

Darmian has already confirmed that he wants to leave the club with Jose Mourinho saying that he won't stand in his way. "Last season, I didn't play much, that's my objective and my ambition", Darmian began.

The report claims that Leicester will offer Maguire a new deal worth £100,000-a-week, a deal which would see "slab head" become the second highest paid player at the club behind striker Jamie Vardy.

"I want to play more regularly". However, Leicester haven't responded all that enthusiastically to the deal for Maguire. The former Premier League champions also have no interest in selling their star defender unless Maguire explicitly tells them he wants to leave the King Power Stadium. Honestly, I'm waiting. If I stay, I stay and I do what I did up until now.

"It has been a hard decision [to want to leave]".

"To play for probably the best club in the world is a good thing and for me it's an honour to play here and play for Manchester United, but we have to take decisions in our life and this is my decision".

"Italy? It could be an option, yes, probably".
