NeNe Leakes Clarifies Comment On Kylie Jenner's Forbes Cover After Dropping Shade

Two Indian Origin Persons On Forbes List Of US Richest Self Made Women

The magazine cover was accompanied by an article explaining how the socialite made $900 million (around P4.8 billion) in less than three years: by taking full advantage of her stardom and making good use of social media as a platform.

Kylie Jenner has been slammed for being called a "self-made billionaire" by Forbes.

After Forbes magazine touted "America's Women Billionaires" with Kylie Jenner on its cover, the backlash was immediate over a reference to the reality TV star as being "self-made". And if she maintains the same pace, she's likely to surpass Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg as the youngest self-made billionaire ever. Forbes estimates the brand alone - which Jenner maintains sole ownership of - is worth almost $800 million.

Waleed Aly wasn't impressed at all with Kylie Jenner appearing on the most recent cover of Forbes.

"Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided", they said in the tweet. Forbes also says Jenner is the 27th-richest self-made woman in the United States, beating out the rest of her family.

Kylie, at nearly 21, has an estimated $900 million to her name, thanks largely to the success of her make-up line and lip-kit specifically.

Jenner's net worth has skyrocketed thanks to the success of Kylie Cosmetics.

When taking into account Jenner's product endorsements (she's done sponsored posts for Fit Tea Wraps, waist trainer company Waist Gang Society and more), Keeping Up with the Kardashians paycheck, Kendall + Kylie clothing line and Puma deal, Forbes "conservatively" estimates the star is worth $900 million.
