George Clooney reportedly sustains minor injuries in scooter crash in Italy

George Clooney was just minding his own business, riding his scooter in Olbia, on the island of Sardinia, when he was hit by a vehicle.

Imagine getting into a auto accident and realizing the person operating the other vehicle was the generous and handsome George Clooney.

The actor was reportedly taken to the emergency room of the John Paul II (Giovanni Paolo II) hospital, which is in Olbia, Sardinia. He was treated for injuries to his pelvis and bruises to a knee and arm, but his condition was not serious.

Clooney is a Northern Kentucky native. "He is recovering at home and will be fine", a source told the Daily Mail.

The publication states that according to La Nuova Sardegna, George was hit by the auto after it suddenly changed direction, taking him by surprise. The two reportedly left together in a private vehicle after he was given the clear.

Clooney already been released, since none of his injuries were life-threatening.

According to some sources, Clooney was on his way to the set of Catch-22 at the time of the accident.
