Resident Evil 2 Game Remake Arriving in January 2019

Games Inbox Resident Evil 2 remake E3 winners and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The original version of Resident Evil 2 was the fastest-selling video game in North America upon its initial release and retains its title as the best-selling game in the franchise on a single platform.

Gamespot has uploaded a almost 20-minute, uncut gameplay video for Resident Evil 2 that gives us a much better idea of what kind of gameplay to expect from this remake.

Some fans have also now compared the map design from Resident Evil 2 Remake to the original game and from the comparison, it appears to be bigger and completely expanded design that adds many new locations and makes some key structural changes.

By reimagining Resident Evil 2 from a brand new perspective with a brand new engine, Capcom is delivering what could be the definitive version of one of the best horror games ever made.

The first trailer for Resident Evil 2 Remake serves as an effective teaser for a game many people thought they'd never actually see. Along with college student Claire Redfield, who is briefly glimpsed in the new trailer, Kennedy must escape his overrun precinct and navigate his way out of the city of the insatiable dead.

In Resident Evil 2, the classic action, tense exploration, and puzzle solving gameplay that defined the Resident Evil series returns.

It's a rare time for zombie hunters, I reckon, because the Resident Evil 4 HD Project mod now also has a launch date: July 13, 2018. Both Leon and Claire have their own playable campaigns, allowing gamers to see the story from a different point of view.
