Griezmann: My Future Will Be Announced Next Week

Antoine Griezmann says he has made a decision on his future but refused to clarify where he will play next season when he spoke to reporters at France's World Cup camp in Russian Federation on Tuesday.

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi admits that signing Antoine Griezmann from rivals Atletico Madrid this summer would be a "brilliant" coup for his side.

Lemar is now in Russian Federation with the France national side, as they prepare to embark on their World Cup campaign.

Arsenal failed to sign Lemar, 22, in last summer's transfer window, while he was also a £60m target for Liverpool.

Both clubs announced a "preliminary agreement" on a transfer, with Atletico saying the clubs will work together to complete the details.

France play their opening game of the tournament on Saturday against Australia.

Griezmann said earlier on Tuesday that he had made up his decision on his future but would not reveal his plans, though sources have since said all signs point to him returning to Atletico.

Just as it looked as if this would prove to be a key day to find out what Antoine Griezmann's future holds, everyone thought he would announce his decision today, it was in reality a press conference which he was obligated to attend.

After scoring nine times in Ligue 1 as Monaco won the title a year ago, he scored three goals and added 10 assists in all competitions this past season.

Monaco have already sold Fabinho to Liverpool this month, and they are set to make further profit with the sale of Lemar.
