E3 2018: Babylon’s Fall Revealed for 2019, From Developer Platinum Games

Square Enix debuted a new video of Shadow of the Tomb Raider during its E3 2018 showcase. But the livestream did include a reveal for a brand new PlatinumGames title called Babylon's Fall.

"The Quiet Man delivers an immersive story driven cinematic action experience seamlessly blending high-production live action, realistic CG and pulse-pounding action gameplay".

It's been a while since Square Enix has used E3 for any major announcements, but they're going all-in this year, started with a pre-recorded livestream featuring their current line-up.

You'll also be able to read all the news individually right here on DualShockers.

The other note worthy tidbit is it can be completed in one sitting, which suggest it's quite short. The teaser was a odd mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf.

Scheduled for a 2019 release, Platinum Games is developing this title. The official website does mention it will be digital only, which does seemingly confirm it won't be $60, but rather $30 or anything below.

More information was promised in August, which perhaps means Gamescom. Not because it looks better, but because it comes completely out of left field, and represents something we don't often see from the industry's biggest publishers.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC worldwide on September 14.
