First Lady Will Not Join President on Trips to G7, NKorea Summit

Melania Trump's office denied a report the first lady has been out of the public eye because she is caring for her ailing mother Amalija Knavs

The president plans to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on June 12 in Singapore, the first leaders' summit between two countries that are still formally at war.

The White House says that First Lady Melania Trump will make her first appearance in almost a month on Monday night, CNN reports.

A reporter for CNBC tweeted that he saw the first lady in the White House on May 29 with her aides.

The first lady did attend the G7 summit in Sicily a year ago, making headlines on her debut worldwide trip as first lady.

The reason for Melania's prolonged absence from the public eye has been the subject of speculation, with theories ranging from the plausible to the outlandish. The Twitterati smelled suspense and said the tweet, under all likelihood, was not composed by the first lady. However she is expected to appear before the public for the first time since then on Monday at a reception for families of soldiers killed in the line of duty, the White House said Sunday.

Drawing a parallel between her tweet and POTUS' earlier tweet, social media went on a rollercoaster ride cracking jokes and framing odd theories about the First Lady's tweet. "She's looking right at us right there".

She sent early signals that she will not bow to speculation or public expectations about what she should be doing.

While the first lady is known for being private, Sunday marks the 24th day she has not been seen in public.

The procedure was said to be "successful" and she stayed in hospital for five days before returning home. She remained at Walter Reed Medical Heart till Could 19. The reception is not open to the press, the White House added.

The FLOTUS has not attended a public event in almost a month.

Her absence is leading to a plethora of different theories, including speculation that she has moved back to Trump Tower in NY. However, Trump is apparently doing well, if her latest tweets are to be believed. She and son Barron officially moved to the White House last June.
