WWE Raw viewership for the night after WWE Backlash

- As noted, hometown star Zack Ryder faced Curt Hawkins in a WWE Main Event match before this week's RAW on Long Island.

This week's edition of WWE Raw, which featured fallout from the highly criticized WWE Backlash PPV, also saw the start of WWE's build to the Money in the Bank PPV in June.

Only a month ago, WWE had excellent ratings with some episodes peaking with well over 4 million viewers.

In case you didn't know.

.
The Boss, The Shenom and the leader of The Riott Squad slug it out for the right to compete in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Hour 1: 2,788,000 viewers with 900 thousand in the 18-49 year old demographic.

The show averaged 2.68 million viewers. According to ShowBuzz Daily, Raw had an average of less than 3 million viewers for all three hours which is a rarity.

The decrease in viewership is expected after the end of WrestleMania season. Poor numbers for a mediocre show that followed a lousy pay-per-view.

Not to mention, the disappointing quality of shows from the latter two caused viewers to lose interest in the product.

The show's fall in viewership could be because of any one of a number of reasons.
