Vodafone Rs 349 prepaid plan will now offer 3GB data per day

One should remember unlike other telcos like Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular, the state-owned company has only 3G services available on their recharge pack, whereas the rivals provide both 3G and 4G network. The report also added, that even though the BSNL is offering unlimited voice calls, users will be charged at the standard rates while making voice calls to numbers in Mumbai and Delhi circles. This Rs. 349 plan has been upgraded from today and the customers will get 3GB of data per day instead of 2.5GB data for 28 days. The plan is also valid for 28 days. However, it is not the only telco offering 3GB 4G data to its users. Jio is only providing 4G data, given this is a 4G VoLTE network. The plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and 100 SMSes per day. With the Rs. 149 plan giving a total of 42GB of 4G data for 28 days with a daily restriction of 1.5 GB data usage with unlimited call for voice roaming, STD and local, 100 SMS and Jio app subscriptions.

Apart from this, BSNL has also introduced three new recharge packs (Rs 118, Rs 379 and Rs 551) for prepaid customers providing somewhat similar offers like its peers.

Under BSNL's STV (special tariff vouchers) of Rs 349, customers get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls.

Under the Rs 349 plan, Vodafone gives 3GB 4G data along with unlimited calling across India plus 100 SMS per day for a validity of 28 days. The plan also includes free caller tune service, but it does not come with any free data. It is now available in Assam, Mumbai, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh West/East circles. This plan will also offer 1 GB per day with the validity of 54 days. The validity of the Vodafone Prepaid Recharge plan 349 is 28 days.

Recently, Vodafone also launched two new plans in a bid to take on competitors Jio and Airtel. The Rs 349 plan with 3GB data does not show for Delhi NCR circle on Vodafone's website. The new plan is essentially a revamped version of the Rs. 348 plan with 500MB more data per day.
