A retired U.S. prison guard has eaten his 30,000th Big Mac, almost 46 years after eating his first.
A 64-year-old Wisconsin man has eaten his 30,000th Big Mac and not only has lived to tell the tale, but claims low cholesterol and "perfect" blood pressure.
Gorske's love for Big Macs started more than 40 years ago when he ate his first one on May 17, 1972. He said that the first time he missed eating a Big Mac was in 1982. That includes a 1982 day in which a snowstorm shut down the restaurant, as well as the day his mom died in 1998.
Big Macs have always been Gorske's thing - he's big enough to have a Wikipedia page detailing his history with the fast-food staple.

Gorske, who has thousands of Big Mac cartons in his home, said several people have suggested he suffers from a form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Among the other Big Mac-related facts he knows is the date that McDonald's switched from lettuce leaves to shredded lettuce - February 10, 1999.
Gorske has appeared on the "Rachael Ray Show", "Jimmy Kimmel", "Lopez Tonight", "I've Got a Secret", "Oprah" and "Inside Edition".
Gorske - famously featured in the 2004 documentary "Super Size Me" because of his obsession with the 563-calorie, fat-laden sandwiches - insisted that his health is great.

Yet the Fed also emphasised the inflation target was "symmetric", suggesting it was not inclined to speed up its tightening plans. Therefore, we still expect the Fed to be gradual in its approach and deliver only two more rate hikes this year.
Tagging from second base, Solarte started his head-first slide too early and proceeded to face-plant and barrel roll over the bag. And because sliding into third with a face is painful and a bad idea, Solarte would get his nose taped between innings.
Rumors about a romance started back in 2009 shortly after Rihanna broke up with her longtime boyfriend Chris Brown. In an interview with The New York Times, he even said that he was her "pawn", but later retracted the statement.
