OnePlus 6: Specifications, features and everything else we know so far

According to the marketing promos that OnePlus has just recently started running, the OnePlus 6 is nearly ready to be unveiled.

This is a welcome move considering the fact that OnePlus, which proclaims to produce flagship killer phone, lacked this water durability feature to date. The company has also teased a repositioning of the hardware Alert Slider and hinted it could be used to offer a "slide to focus" option. However, that didn't stop the Chinese smartphone maker from airing actual OnePlus 6 ads in cinemas.

With the addition of water resistance, it's likely OnePlus 6 will cost more than the OP5T.

The images exhibit the camera performance of the OnePlus 6 in day-light conditions. The display will have a notch at the top, which did not please a lot of OnePlus fans. The video teaser doesn't reveal any additional details about the phone. However, most of us also thought that the devices miss one feature in particular i.e. they are not water proof or at least water resistant.

Previous OnePlus smartphones have displayed limited resistance to water, within unofficial YouTube videos. Are you ready for the #OnePlus6?' The image shows the dual rear camera setup at the rear panel along with the circular fingerprint sensor and OnePlus branding.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has shared some full-res 16MP camera samples from the OnePlus 6 from a recent walk around Stanford, California.

Already, it has confirmed that OnePlus 6 will sport Apple iPhone X-inspired notch display, a hot new trend in the smartphone industry. The teaser doesn't mention if it will be IP57, IP67 or IP68 certified but being a flagship smartphone one can expect it to be nothing less that IP67. Although the camera samples don't reveal technical details about the OnePlus 6 camera, what we can surely see that the phone definitely captured pretty clear pictures in bright daylight scenario.
