Moto G6 Play

We're still not entirely sure exactly when Motorola will officially unveil the 2018 G6 series, but it should be soon - possibly later this month, or early May - since a complete set of renders for all three expected models has been posted online, courtesy of Twitter user Ishan Agarwal.

Speaking about the renders of the Moto G6 Play, it shows the 18:9 display on the front with Motorola logo placed on the chin, the same Saturn ring at the back housing the camera and LED flash. Though the pages have not put out image of the device, they reveal full specifications of the upcoming Moto G6.

Going by the leaked image, it is quite sure now that the new Moto G6 Play will carry a glass build similar to that of Moto X4 which was launched past year. On a related note, Moto G6 was also seen listed on Amazon Canada website without an image. Moto G6 is expected to sport a design similar to that of Moto X4. The screen will have an aspect ratio of 18:9, which means reduced bezels on sides as well as top and bottom. The images showcase the front and back of the device along with some specs shown on the sticker on the display. The phone is expect to bear a dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel primary lens and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth effects. Connectivity-wise, you can expect dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio port. Following the same, the renders of all the three smartphones in the G6 lineup have come to light. The specs sound very promising and it is confirmed that this will be a mid-range smartphone from Motorola powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Today, the Motorola Moto G-range generally sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-series or 600-series chipsets, along with other features and specifications that are the norm in smartphones priced at under Rs 20,000 in India. Not much else is known about the Plus model as yet.
