Broncos 2018 preseason schedule released

Full Schedule Raiders open at home against Lions preseason Week 1

While the schedule of games was announced by the NFL Wednesday, specific times and dates for the first three games won't be set until later.

Final dates and times will be announced over the next month.

- The Patriots' first two preseason opponents are the Washington Redskins and Eagles. Week 1 games will be scheduled from Aug. 9-12, Week 2 from Aug. 16-19 and Week 3 from Aug. 23-26.

Week 3 will have five national telecasts, beginning August 23 with Super Bowl champion Philadelphia at Cleveland. The Cowboys and Bengals have met only twice before in preseason, with Dallas winning both contests. In past years, they've hosted the Patriots and Baltimore Ravens for joint practices and visited the Patriots as well.

The Seahawks defeated the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII after the 2013 season and played in Super Bowl XLIX, but they had a run of five consecutive postseason berths snapped last season.

They open the exhibition slate with a game in Oakland against Jon Gruden and the new-look Raiders, then return home the following week to face the New York Giants.

The Panthers also will travel to the Steelers in the regular season, marking the 21st time Carolina has faced a team in the regular season after facing the same team in the preseason.

The Ravens have won their past eight preseason games, the only team in the National Football League to go unbeaten over the past two preseasons.

Cowboys vs. Texans, Week 4 - This will probably the game you'll see the most of Dak Prescott and Deshaun Watson at quarterback. The Dolphins lost their most risky player in defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to the Rams, but they still have some young talent on both sides of the ball that will be worth watching.

Houston played against the Chiefs, 49ers and Rams during the regular season a year ago.

First, their all-important "dress rehearsal" third preseason game will be a national showcase: Friday, August 28 at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Raymond James Stadium.

The Lions also have two trips out west during the regular season, with games in Arizona and San Francisco.
