Moto G6 phones' specs and images shown off before launch

Moto G6 press renders show off the smartphone from every angle; key specifications leaked too

Recently the design of the Moto Z3 Play was leaked. The latest renders show us the device from all the angles. Under the hood, the device will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Octa-core chipset with 3/4GB RAM and 32/63GB onboard flash storage.

That's no small feat, mind you, as the Z3 Play is expected to provide over 6 inches of usable screen real estate, compared to the 5.5-inch Super AMOLED panel of its predecessor. 12 and 5-megapixel snappers will be included on the back of the phone, while a single 16-megapixel camera will be placed on the device's front side.

Finally, this report claims that the Moto G6 will offer compatibility with Motorola's "TurboPower" charging on its 3,000 mAh battery.

On the camera front, the Motorola Z3 Play is expected to roll out packing a dual 12MP + 8MP sensor on the back panel with a 5MP sensor located on the front panel for the selfie. Killer Features has also put out the price of Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play.

The Lenovo-owned mobile manufacturer Motorola is widely expected to launch Moto G6 series smartphones in April this year and the market is abuzz with rumours surrounding the upcoming Motorola handsets.

It's still unclear when the Moto G6 family is going to debut, but it's ramping up to be another solid offering. They will either have a combination of 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM or 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM.

We all know Motorola phones run near stock Android with the addition of some pretty useful features. As per the report, the Moto G6 Play will be priced at $199 (roughly Rs. 13,000), while the Moto G6 will be available at $249 (roughly Rs. 16,000).

The report also states that the Moto G6 will be shipping with a dual-camera system, like the one found in the Moto X4, but the exact specifications are unknown right now. There will be a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It will feature a 1.4GHz octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor and come with 2GB of RAM. The phone is likely to launch in Indian for a price tag of Rs 25,000.

Moto G6 Plus is expected to sport a 5.93-inch Full HD+ IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The storage will be expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card slot. We've got confirmation all three phones will boast an 18:9 display, front LED flash, fingerprint sensor, and dual rear cameras.

Coming to the Moto G6 Plus, it is also a dual-SIM smartphone running Android 8.0 Oreo.
