Don't let Buhari use you again - PDP warns Tinubu

Osinbajo says Jonathan PDP stole Nigeria's resources

Mohammed had on behalf of the federal government Friday listed the PDP boss as one of those who looted ‎public treasury during the reign of the party.

"However, attacks on individuals, who are members of our party, does not in anyway detract from the fact that the PDP, as a political platform, is not a party of corruption".

On the 19th of Feb 2015, he took N200 million only from the office of the NSA.

Some of them are the current PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, Former Financial Secretary of the party, former National Publicity Secretary of the party, Olisa Metuh, a chieftain of the party Dr Raymond Dokpesi, AIT founder, among others.

"Former SSA to President Jonathan, Dudafa Waripamo-Owei - On trial over N830 million kept in accounts of four different companies".

The PDP has challenged us to name the looters under their watch.

He further stated that this is just a tip of the iceberg and some of the cases are still in court, stressing that the list is not a mere imagination of the APC. Many of these cases are in court and the records are available.

"If the persons listed view it as name-dropping, they could sue for defamation; justification is the total defence to defamation".

Emeka Etiaba, the lawyer to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has given the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, 48 hours to withdraw his libelous statement against Mr. Secondus or face litigation.

It added: "The Buhari-led Federal Government has manifested its frenzy by going after matters that are in court and in which none of the persons has been convicted, thus betraying their wickedness and desperation to mislead the public, the court and divert attention from the heavy looting involving their members".

Tinubu, while speaking during the 10th Bola Tinubu Colloquium organised to mark his 66th birthday celebration on Thursday, said "we will not allow the PDP back".

DAILY NIGERIAN reports that Bolaji Abudulahi, APC National Publicity Secretary made the call in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.

"It is tragic that Asiwaju had to tutor his visitor, who had no policy direction since his election in 2015, by engaging in a revision of the programmes and policies of the PDP, such as the leasing system, the mortgage and pension schemes which boosted the economy and directly impacted on the lives of Nigerians".
