Apple Releases iOS 11.3 With Battery Health Feature, New Animoji and More

Other new features include a USA exclusive Health records section inside Apple's Health app, and a new privacy icon that's displayed whenever Apple asks for personal information such as an Apple ID password. The feature has been teased for a few weeks now, alongside iOS 11.3, but it seems to be rolling out ahead of the OS update. To access the update, go to Settings - General - Software Update.

"This feature will be especially useful on Apple TV, now you can simply set up Apple Music on your TV to play top songs with the accompanying videos". It also says that turning off power management could mean it'll take longer for apps to load, the speakers may be quieter, and the camera flash may even be disabled in some cases.

In the blog post, Apple detailed the experiences of two clinicians who have been using the system: Dr. Robert Harrington, cardiologist and chairman of the Department of Medicine at Stanford, and Dr. Paul Testa, CIO at NYU Langone Medical Center. The feature will include battery health, battery degradation, and performance analysis of battery. If done well, Business Chat sounds likely to offer a greatly improved customer support avenue over standard web chat interfaces.

Now Apple watchers have spotted a small change to the Music app which appears to herald the imminent arrival of the new software.

The company released its iOS 11.3 mobile operating system update on Thursday, which includes a laundry list of new features and fixes.

With iOS 11.3, you'll be able to turn this off - you should see a performance boost, but it may damage the overall long-term health of your battery. It's not as important as serious issues like planned obsolescence, health care, and keeping tabs on your personal data.

The web page will let users download data stored across individual apps and services. "Zendesk's integration with Apple Business Chat Beta will allow customers to engage with businesses on a much more personal level through Message".

The new feature will make it easier for users to keep up with their own lab results, medications, and conditions, the release said.
