BJP Gets A New Address Today PM Modi To Inaugurate Multi Storey Office

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the BJP's new luxurious headquarters in presence of party's prominent leaders.

The PM congratulated the party president and his team for completing the work of the office in stipulated time and for getting a new home to the BJP.

Addressing the audience, Modi said: "Is this the BJP office or my office?"

Speaking at the inauguration function of the new BJP headquarters here, he said, "In thought, in action and in implementation, the BJP's core is truly democratic".

The new building is fitted with advanced communication tools, including video-conferencing, to help office-bearers co-ordinate official works with their counterparts in the state, ANI reported.

Prime Minister Modi, BJP veteran LK Advani, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Piyush Goyal were also present at the inauguration ceremony. The parties were asked to move out of Luyten's Bungalow Zone. "The dream of workers of the Jan Sangh, the BJP's forerunner, and the BJP that they have an office of their own has been realised today", Mr Shah said. The Supreme Court had hence asked all parties to move out of those offices. Equipped with modern facilities, the headquarters' foundation stone was laid by Modi on August 18, 2016.

In his address, the Prime Minister said there were several leaders associated with the Congress during the struggle for freedom, but later parted ways to propagate their political values and founded new parties.
