Paddington Director In Talks For Willy Wonka

Paddington Director In Talks For Willy Wonka

The script for the latest version was written by Simon Rich. The story will focus on Willy Wonka's early adventures prior to the events of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Gene Wilder played the role of Wonka in 1971's Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, and then Johnny Depp portrayed the character in 2005, when it was retitled as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Paddington 2 director Paul King is now in final talks to direct the next big screen adaptation of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Should the deal be sealed, the project will reunite King with David Heyman, who produces the "Paddington" movies. And reports stemming from EW state that King is in final talks with Warner Bros.to possibly rebooting the iconic Wonka franchise.

At this stage we're not entirely sure where the storyline will go, however we do know that it will be based around Willy Wonka's life, before he met Charlie Bucket.

"It's not a remake". Simon Rich, writer of Pixar's Inside Out, is reported to be writing the movie. I think there's a lot in his character that suggests who he is and also where he might come from or what his childhood or his middle age might have been like. There'll be a film that feels more like Black Ops, the story behind the story. Paul King, the director of two wonderful Paddington movies, is on board to direct (via THR). The studio is now doing the same with another Dahl movie adaptation, The Witches. And there's some serious talent behind it.

This isn't the only Dahl story the studios are looking to bring back to the big screen, as they're also reportedly working on adapting "The Witches", with a script from Guillermo del Toro.

Add a second Sonos One though, and the stereo separation is clear, plus the mid-range and high frequencies are more nuanced to me. These songs are both largely acoustic, and I'd say that songs from this genre perform particularly well on the HomePod.
