To commemorate DeGeneres' love of animals on her 60th, de Rossi presented her with a campus called The Ellen DeGeneres Center for The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and The Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund so that she can raise money for a cause dear to her heart.

'Portia did the whole thing, she put the whole thing together. DeGeneres also recently had the honor of hosting Michelle Obama's first interview since leaving the White House past year.

Ellen starred in her own self-titled sitcom from 1994 until it was cancelled in 1998, shortly after she revealed she was a lesbian. Some people might be daunted about hitting their sixties, but the Finding Dory star appears to be taking it all in with absolute stride. It certainly looks like a fun night to remember. As it turns out, many of Ellen's musician friends provided free entertainment throughout the night - all thanks to Reese Witherspoon!
