Mike Tomlin confirms Todd Haley out as OC

In fact, it did not take long for speculation to start on who would be replacing Haley.

The move comes as no surprise following Pittsburgh's disappointing divisional round loss to Jacksonville.

On the very same day that the team parted ways with longtime offensive coordinator Todd Haley, it already looks like the Pittsburgh Steelers have a replacement.

"You might butt heads at times - it doesn't mean that you have any personal problems", Roethlisberger said in response to reports about a fractured relationship with Haley.

There have always been rumors of tension between Haley and Roethlisberger.

NFL Media noted that while quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had incredible success with Haley, the relationship was not sustainable.

I'm guessing that Roethlisberger won't want to eat any of the turnovers that the bakery sent him after that Sacksonville burn.

Mann had indicated the 2017 season would be his last in the National Football League before the year even began back in June, and this announcement was always expected once the Steelers were knocked out of the playoffs. "Some contracts are up, some contacts aren't", Tomlin said.

Tomlin hired him to be the Steelers' receivers coach in 2013 and trained Antonio Brown through the five best seasons of his career. "I'm not ready to discuss that at this point".

You can bet that Roethlisberger will be looking for revenge against the Jaguars next season and hope that they're the ones turning it over instead. He also served as the offensive coordinator for the Cardinals from 2007-08.

The Steelers are not renewing the contract of Haley, the team confirmed in an afternoon press release, ending his six-year run as the Steelers' offensive coordinator.
