Man Hits Harvey Weinstein in the Face in Arizona Restaurant

Harvey Weinstein pummeled by man in drunken rage at Arizona resort, report says

According to TMZ, Weinstein, who is "recovering" from his alleged addiction to assaulting women in Scottsdale, Arizona, dined at Elements, an upscale restaurant.

While the slight slaps seem to stagger the disgraced mogul, his reps tell us that Weinstein "is still OK and in good spirits" and that no police report was filed.

TMZ says in an article today that Steve approached the celebrity news site and said he had, at first, been refused a photo by Weinstein, who was belligerent.

Steve says he walked up to Weinstein and said, "You're such a piece of s*** for what you did to these women", and then punched him in the face twice.

The man, identified by TMZ only as Steve, had reportedly first asked Weinstein if he could have his photo taken with him, and the request was denied. He left the restaurant with someone described as his "sober coach".

The video was later shared by TMZ.

It's probably surprising a story like this has taken this long to pop up, but there you go: Harvey Weinstein has been attacked in a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Dozens of women, including actresses Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment, while several others have accused the Oscar victor of raping them.

TMZ reports that a restaurant manager said neither attempted punch connected. The manager did agree that Steve was drunk, however.

Since the publication of a bombshell report in The New York Times in early October, the Weinstein Company co-founder has been accused of sexual assault and intimidation by more than 50 women including Oscar victor Lupita Nyong'o, Salma Hayek, Minka Kelly, and Rose McGowan.
