Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visit south London

Meghan Markle

Markle, who once ran a blog and had an active social media presence, had slowly scaled back her activity on the accounts when her relationship with Prince Harry became increasingly serious.

Former actress Meghan Markle has deleted her social media accounts as she prepares to Wednesday Prince Harry.

Their visit also marks the first time they've been seen publicly since celebrating the holidays together with Queen Elizabeth (making Markle the first royal fiancée to do so, no big deal). When she was a budding actress, Meghan was an avid social media user, and even had her own lifestyle website called The Tig.

However, updates about the family's appearances and daily lives are shared on the Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts for Kensington Palace, Clarence House and so on.

The couple, stepping out for their second official event since announcing their engagement in November, headed to the Brixton neighborhood of south London to meet with the volunteers and staff of Reprezent FM.

Prince Harry and his brother Prince William support youth projects through their charitable foundation.

Meghan was clearly a fan of Glory's work, saying: "I can see why your show is so popular". Last year, she also ended her partnership with Canadian department store Reitman's for a fashion line.

Harry, 33, and Markle, 36, will marry at Windsor's St George's Chapel on May 19. "I think they're (a) very good match, I'm very happy for them, Meghan and Harry", he told a passerby while visiting a convenience store in Rosarito, Mexico.
