Trailer: Our Cartoon President

Showtime will stream an episode that features the cartoon Trump preparing to deliver his State of the Union address on January 28.

See just how formidable Sanders' character looks in the "Our Cartoon President" trailer below. Everything that's in his book is in our show, and we just guessed. Watch the trailer below.

"I love my country more than I love a good joke", Stephen Colbert says. In 2017 "Late Show" has passed the less-topical "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon" in the ratings. Wolff's book tells you that what you imagine life in Trump's White House is like after the cameras are turned off. Turns out what you imagined is what it's really like.

After over a year of making fun of President Trump on The Late Show, Stephen Colbert acknowledges that the constant chaos of the White House regularly provides more comedic material than he and his writers know what to do with - but having so much joke fodder is not, he wants to emphasize, an overall plus.

Colbert on Saturday appeared at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour to promote "Our Cartoon President", a 10-episode parody series that debuts on Showtime at 8 p.m. February 11. "We're not putting a lot of animation time into Rex Tillerson". No such thing in comic Stephen Colbert's world. But he's also going to take shots at those in his administration, including White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

The show is produced by CBS Television Studios. "I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius....and a very stable genius at that!"

Exactly what he means is unclear.

"So does Trump", Colbert responded. It's a patriotic duty thing.
