"The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School", Kensington Palace shared on Instagram on Monday. The darling two-year-old worked the camera, sporting a red coat, Mary Janes, pink scarf, and the flawless dose of sass in the portraits, which were photographed by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Pictures taken by her pregnant mother showed the smiling two-year-old outside her home before she set off to begin at the private Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington. A pair of £27.00 Mary Jane shoes from Spanish designer Dona Carmen, and a red hair tie - also by Amaia Kids - completed her look.
