Monster Hunter World gets a final PS4 beta

PS4 owners have one more beta before Monster Hunter: World hits consoles on January 26. This new trailer introduces several new and returning favorite Elder Dragons.

Capcom released a ton of new information today regarding their upcoming title: Monster Hunter: World! They include Teostra and Kushala Daora. The beta runs from 6 PM Pacific on Thursday, January 18 until 6 PM Pacific on Sunday, January 21, with pre-loading beginning on January 17. Additional content will also be available for this testing period, "In addition to the previously released Great Jagras, Anjanath and Barroth quests, players will now be able to battle against the game's terrifying and challenging flagship monster Nergigant". Along with these two beasts, the trailer also features the monster Dodogama which is a rock-eating wyvern that has a unique saliva that can make rocks become explosive.

Monster Hunter World is due for launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in just a few weeks - on 26th January - but there's still time for one more PS4 beta.

Additionally, for fans of the game, there is a giant head of the iconic dragon-like creature - Rathalos (otherwise known as "King of the Skies") outside, and the walls will be adorned with maps and memorabilia, sure to transport diners into the mythical world of Monster Hunter. They plan on releasing the first DLC in the Spring of 2018 (not long after the game's launch), and will have plenty more content updates as the year progresses - all for free. Players will be able to put their hunting skills to the test against this brute. The fearsome beasts have even taken over the latest Monster Hunter: World trailer, because their presence must be made known.
