Fast food chain celebrating California's pot legalization with 'Munchie Meal'

Jack in the Box will sell a marijuana themed munchie-meal in Long Beach Calif. for a week in January

For a while, the use of marijuana was strictly for patients with medicinal cards but come Monday, marijuana will be available to purchase for recreational use.

Snoop Dogg is changing the munchie game by partnering with Jack in the Box to slang some of the dankest fast food you've ever ferociously stuffed in your face. The stoner bundle will be available at select Jack in the Box locations in Long Beach (Snoop's home town) from January 18 to January 25.

The combo meal is not a random marketing tactic on Jack in the Box's part.

Additionally, the box will be co-branded with Snoop Dogg's Merry Jane website, with their marijuana leaf logo on the box.

Several Jack In The Box restaurants in Southern California have created a late-night meal option specifically for pot smokers to help ease their inevitable hunger pangs.

Jack in the Box has been called "Jack in the Crack", but really, it's Jack in the Weed.

At the beginning of December, Jack in the Box agreed to sell its Qdoba fast-casual Mexican food chain to Apollo Global Management LLC for $305 million in cash.

Of course the meal will cost $4.20, a number very familiar to cannabis connoisseurs.

"Launching the Merry Munchie Meal is the flawless way to acknowledge the cannabis culture in our shared home state of California", said Scott Chung, chief operations officer at Merry Jane.
