Strong quake tremors felt in Delhi

Earthquake of 5.5 magnitude hits Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand; epicentre East Dehradun

Media reports said that the tremors were felt in many parts of North India, including Chandigarh and Dehradun. Everything was moving for a while.

In Uttarakhand, tremors were felt in Champawat, Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Ramnagar, Tehri and Chamoli districts of the state.

Some reports said that the natural disaster tremors were also felt in Uttarakhand.

According to the Centre for Seismology, an quake of 5.5 magnitude was reported in Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand. It is also known as the third most earthquake-prone city in India. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand also witnessed heavy snowfall in the hilly regions of the state on Wednesday, bringing the mercury down.

A Strong natural disaster tremors were felt in Delhi on Wednesday night.

However, reports are coming that the impact of the quake was not so remarkable even many have not felt it. Dehradun reports suggested no casualties.
