Pamela Anderson says Harvey Weinstein victims 'knew what they were getting into'

Pamela Anderson 50 loves her life

Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson has responded to claims that she was victim blaming when she suggested Harvey Weinstein's accusers "knew what they were getting into". When Anderson's remarks were met with online accusations of victim-blaming, her publicist Ann Gurrola insisted that Anderson was just trying to recommend ways for women to avoid sexual abuse.

Pamela knows what it's like to be a victim of abuse as she's said in the past and she knows what it's like to allow men like Harvey Weinstein to have their way whenever they want it.

The Baywatch actress sat down for a candid interview on the US breakfast show Megyn Kelly Today, which aired on Thursday, and during the chat, she revealed she has always steered clear of certain industry figures and wasn't surprised to read about the multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault made against Weinstein.

"So this is not victim blaming but looking at the issue from the angle of women being aware of certain problems and how to spot them and fight them", she wrote. "There is even a well known story of suffragettes learning martial arts", she explained.

Kelly then pointed out that numerous women who had come forward said that their agents had arranged the meetings for them, Anderson said that it was "not a good excuse". "It is totally hypocritical to ignore this".

At the same time, the actress blamed Weinstein's alleged victims for their lack of "common sense". That certain people or certain producers in Hollywood are people to avoid privately, ' she confessed. "That's not a good excuse". 'If someone answers the door in a bathrobe, leave. This is things that are sound judgment, yet I know Hollywood is extremely alluring and the general population need to be renowned. "I don't know where this security originates from, however by one means or another I evaded everything". I believe in love and commitment and common sense.

"I've had some really bad boyfriends and I've never been talked to this way", said Anderson. Quite an opposite, I said myself that Weinstein is a sexist pig and a bully. I only want intimate sexual experiences - where I can be free to give my wildest fantasies to someone who loves me. and never have used sex as a weapon.
