Margot Robbie's Spinoff Guarantees Us Another Halloween of Harley Quinn Costumes

Robbie's performance as Harley Quinn received universal praise in Suicide Squad

With Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens, and a Joker and Harley spin-off in the works, Harley Quinn is about to be all over our big screens. "I honestly, I don't think anyone knows what's gonna be the next thing to happen, but I think everyone's keen to get Harley back onscreen, so everyone's working on lots of different versions of what that could be". "It's hard to kind of talk about it, because all the stuff is kind of under lock and key".

Now it has emerged that there will be another film that focusses exclusively on Robbie's Harley Quinn, and potentially a load of other ass-kicking female characters from the DC Universe. But the way she says it here, all of these projects, including this mysterious solo take, are in various stages of development and any one of them could come out before the others - which, you have to think, would help determine anything that followed.

In an interview with Robbie, MTV host Josh Horowitz inquired into the status of these projects, which would essentially require Robbie to be filming three separate superhero films at the same time.

"No, it's a totally separate one".

Speaking about what she would want to do with Harley in the project, Robbie said: "I would like to see her with other women". No one actually cares about Harley Quinn or wants to see Warner Bros. ruin more iconic comic book characters. There's a lot going on right now. "You see that in the comics, she loves meeting people, any people, but she needs her girl gang".

Now, it has been revealed that Margot WILL be returning as Harley in a very exciting way. There are four Harley Quinn movies on the schedule and at least two more Wonder Woman films.

Meanwhile, production on the Suicide Squad sequel is expected to begin next year. Is this something you're excited for?
