Rain, wind, snow on tap; sunny Sunday to follow

Places like the Cape & the Islands could reach 50mph+ into early Sunday morning. Lows will likely be in the mid 30s. The rest of the week looks to stay quiet and near average! Winds will decrease this evening and it will be quite chilly tonight into tomorrow morning.

Monday|Times of sun and clouds. Friday's high is in the upper 60s, while Saturday and Sunday have highs back in the mid 70s. By Wednesday afternoon, much of the state will be very mild with temperatures rising into the 50s to around 60. This will be great weather to get outside! That brings us to the busiest travel day of the year on Wednesday, and a possible small bump along our otherwise nice weather road. The cold front pushes through Indianapolis around 1pm bringing a line of storms through the area. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Afternoon temperatures today will be 20°-30° cooler compared to Friday.

The reason why the wind will be so strong is we have a warm front followed by a powerful cold front that will quickly sweep across the region.
