Conor McGregor storms ring, shoves ref in Dublin MMA match

The UFC star was involved in a insane altercation in the cage with referee Marc Goddard at the event in the 3Arena.

Three weeks after referee Marc Goddard objected an obnoxious McGregor from his cageside perch in Gdansk, Poland, while cheering on teammate Artem Lobov at a UFC Fight Night card, "The Notorious" attempted a return confrontation.

Ward walked away with a first-round knockout win over Team Ryano's John Redmond, but the focus was all on McGregor after the fight. McGregor tackled Ward in celebration inside the cage before Goddard and another official came over to intervene.

Goddard, who reportedly has a history with McGregor, apparently angered McGregor with his attempts to clear up the ring. As Goddard walked over to check on the fallen Redmond, McGregor shoved the veteran official in the back. Even more, he brought attention to Bellator MMA, UFC's chief rival.

Bellator 187 took place on Friday at 3Arena in Dublin.

McGregor eventually left the cage as the chaos simmered down, but immediately after leaving through the cage door, he went for a run around the cage and pumped up the crowd.

The event is set to air Friday night in North America on a tape delay and Bellator is already using video of the incident to promote their product. McGregor continued yelling and kept trying to get at Goddard. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, the UFC does to punish McGregor.
