Wind advisory issued Sunday for Lancaster County

Estimated rainfall totals from this weekend's storm. Higher amounts are possible in isolated

Winds can still gust 40-50mph, even upwards of 60mph on Long Island. Rain will continue overnight with 1 to 2 inches possible and a low around 46, NWS says. Monday morning it will still be windy with gusts to 45 miles per hour.

Moisture from Tropical Storm Philippe - which will not come to the city - is enhancing the Nor'easter. Flood Watches and High Wind Watches are issued for CT and most of New England.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, chance for a few showers. There will be a slight chance of rain on Monday night, October 30 and Tuesday morning, October 31.

Rainfall-wise, we are expecting as much as the last storm with 2"-4" statewide.

The rain should taper off during the predawn hours.

It's during the height of the storm when the most wind damage could occur. Everything will end on Monday, but the wind will remain strong throughout the day as temperatures fall to the low 50s by dark.

Wind gusts will pickup in intensity first thing Sunday morning.

On the other side of the country, a cold high pressure system in Northern B.C. and Alberta will produce strong winds through some of the river valleys and mountain passes.

About four to six inches for some areas in Jefferson County and central NY is possible by Tuesday evening.

Sunny, with a high near 88. During this same time frame the wind will start to pick up and will be gusty, southwest 20-30mph with isolated power outages possible.

We're anticipating numerous power issues Sunday night into Monday with the greatest power threat along coastal areas of the state.

"The area from eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey to central and eastern NY state to New Hampshire has the greatest potential for flash and urban flooding", AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski said. A flash flood watch was in effect until late Sunday night.

Parts of the state already received over 5 inches of rain this past week. Luckily the heaviest rain appears to stay to the west of CT impacting areas of Central Pennsylvania and Upstate New York.
