Aussies look to end India tour on a high

After the match was delayed, the ground at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium was inspected three times but despite all efforts from the ground staff play was not possible.

India and Australia will play in the third and final T20 global in Hyderabad on Friday. In the second match played a Guwahati, the visitors bounced back and thrashed the Indians by 8 wickets.

On what has been a morale-breaking tour for Australia, the team failed to consolidate after being in strong positions in numerous exchanges in the ODIs. Virat Kohli and David Warner are having a chat with with match officials.

India won the rain-truncated first match in Ranchi by nine wickets, while Australia squared the series with a eight-wicket victory in Guwahati on Tuesday.

India claimed the opener comfortably but Australia fought back in the first ever global match in Guwahati but the series was denied the decider it richly deserved.

The action has shifted to the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad today for the series-deciding clash.

The Aussies, who lost the Test series in India 2-1 in March, now head into the Ashes, with the first Test against England starting November 23.

All eyes will, however, be on the weather, as there is forecast of rain later in the night.
