Colin Kaepernick says he'd go anywhere for National Football League workout

Tampa Bay Buccaneers v San Francisco 49ers

According to a report by Jason La Canfora on Sunday, Kaepernick has been living in NY and working out privately in New Jersey with the hope of signing with a team this season.

Kaepernick said if he is signed, he doesn't plan to kneel during the anthem.

He's not planning on kneeling. He's gonna donate all his jersey sales.

It's beyond unbelievable to think that La Canfora wouldn't have addressed the anthem issue with Kaepernick during their discussions.

Oh, and he also tossed out a little tidbit that Kaepernick will stand for the national anthem. According to a report by Jason La Canfora, Kaepernick has been living in NY and working out privately in New Jersey with the hope of signing with a team this season.

"Colin is all about changing the world and the fact that more people seem to be aware of social injustice, he's all in favor of", La Canfora said, referencing the recent spate of National Football League protests. Later on Twitter, La Canfora doubled down on his reports that Kaepernick is working hard to return to the NFL. Instead, La Canfora says that he was simply relaying what had been reported about Kaepernick planning to stand.

The 29-year-old quarterback spurred national controversy last year during a preseason game for the 49ers by kneeling during "The Star-Spangled Banner" in protest of the treatment of blacks in the US.

That recent wave of protests was triggered by Trump's suggestion that team owners fire football players for exercising their constitutional right to protest. "When I was asked about his whether or not he would sit or stand for anthem ..."

"Colin told me explicitly, 'I'll go anywhere and work out for a team".
