Call of Duty: WWII Ditches Endgame Killcam for Something Better

7 Reasons to Try the Call of Duty: WWII Beta

This year's Call of Duty will include a dedicated multiplayer social space for the first time, known as Headquarters. Divisions give players the ability to reinforce their individual play styles by choosing from five iconic World War II divisions, each with specific division training and division weapon skills.

Call of Duty WWII is looking to invade your weekend like the Allied Forces who stormed the beaches of France's Normandy coast when the private beta officially kicks off. However, players who have held onto their cash before the game's release can still happily experience the beta, using the following little trick.

PS4 owners can participate in this weekend's beta, which officially kicks off August 25, 10 a.m. PDT and ends on the 28th. Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of camaraderie, and the unforgiving nature of war.

Share your feedback of the Call of Duty: WWII private beta below in the comments section.

One of the new surprises that early beta players have already discovered is WWII's new highlight feature for ending a match. "Team up with your friends to compete in fan-favorite modes such as TDM, Domination, Hardpoint, and more".

While the Call of Duty: WW2 beta is locked away from those who haven't pre-ordered the game in USA and Europe, it's open to all on the Singapore PlayStation Store. No single-player campaign or Nazi Zombies content will be included in the beta.

The closed beta for Call of Duty: WW2 is now only available to PS4 players, though a private beta will be made available to Xbox One owners, too, starting September 1.
