Katy Perry Won't Be Catching Any Shade On New Taylor Swift Album

Taylor Swift's New Album 'Reputation' Coming Nov. 10

Perry released the visuals for "Swish Swish" this week, and while fans were gagging over Nicki Minaj's cameo, some on social media called out Perry for what they viewed as blatant body-shaming, Perez Hilton reports.

Video: What exists at the very centre of the Venn diagram between Katy Perry's feud with Taylor Swift, Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, and GLOW?

Also much like "old Taylor", she is once again - you guessed it - the victim. It's not until Nicki Minaj and her dance crew arrives two-thirds of the way through to rap a break and tell Katy to "get it together" that she leads the Tigers to victory. "Swish Swish" describes some kind of takeover, but the music video is an underdog-themed one, which hints that Perry is not above Swift in their rivalry. The trouble is that Katy's team, the Tigers, SUCK, while the Sheep (a bunch of muscly body builders) are wonderful.

The pop star put her music back on the platform on the same day Katy Perry released her new album.

In addition to revealing her medley, Katy also opened up about her stint on the upcoming reboot of American Idol. Perry asked them to dance on her tour instead, so the dancers slithered back to Perry. With this video, you can sense her comfort in dropping the put-on villainy and returning to lighthearted affability.

Taylor Swift's new song may be a reference to her alleged "Mean Girls" personality.

The song is largely thought to be a response to her long running beef with Taylor Swift. The timing of this is too impeccable, as it nearly coincides with the release of Taylor Swift's new single, "Look What You Made Me Do".

Love or hate her music-or her public image, for that matter-but it's becoming clear that Taylor Swift is not one to be fucked with.

Katy Perry's new video for the sort-of-techno dance tune Swish Swish dropped this morning and while we knew Hafthor Bjornsson was going to be in it, we didn't know that he was taking a starring role.
