McGregor wears "f*** you" suit to Mayweather conference

Freddie Roach believes Conor McGregor can beat Floyd Mayweather

The battle between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is clearly something he can not miss.

The launch of the promotional tour for the upcoming Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor boxing match featured a unique fashion statement.

After the joint press conference, Irish UFC icon McGregor held a briefing of his own. "He is probably one of the mentally strongest people in sport right now", McIlroy said.

The fight is one of the most hotly anticipated of modern times, so it's fair to say the promotion received a bit of attention - some of which has been rather humorous.

"I'll be the first to say I can contradict myself".

The two are in the middle of promoting their fight on 26 August and were at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, though technical difficulties saw it begin in the worst way possible.

"From where he was four years ago to where he is now, not just the stature and the brand, just his mindset, he is mentally very strong".

As expected, Tuesday's press conference featured no shortage of verbal jabs between the two combatants, as both competitors have largely built their careers on talking the talk and then backing it up. A Law360 report published last Friday claimed the 40-year-old requires the money from August 26 to pay off taxes still owed to the IRS from 2015-disputed by Mayweather on Instagram on Tuesday.

'You line them up and I will knock them down. "He's gonna let Floyd know what he's gonna do and how he's gonna do it and everybody's been saying to me this whole time, "'Do you think that Conor can really beat Floyd Mayweather?' Pacquiao just got beat by a school teacher, okay", says White. "He can't even afford a suit anymore". I don't see Floyd running into the middle of the ring and trading with Conor and trying to knock him out, but I see Conor going after him and Floyd being defensive. McGregor wanted this fight, I wanted this fight.

A number of prominent boxers have also said McGregor stands no chance in this fight.

"But it's actually July to July so I was 24 this year, which is a great jump from 84 the year before", he stated before hesitantly adding, "I mean I said I'd fight".
