Katy Perry Thinks Taylor Swift Is Trying To 'Assassinate' Her Character

Katy Perry will perform at Key Bank Center in September

Swift's management said Thursday on social media that the singer would release her music to Spotify in celebration of the success of her last album, which was released a year ago.

"We can confirm that Taylor Swift's entire back catalogue is now available on Spotify for her millions of fans to enjoy", said Spotify.

The albums - including 2012's "Red" and breakout hit "Fearless" - were pulled from Spotify in 2014, ahead of the release of 1989.

Taylor Swift is making all of our "Wildest Dreams" come true with a big announcement that's sure to rock the music world.

Mere hours before the release of Katy Perry's purposeful pop LP Witness, it looks like she may be thwarted by Taylor Swift.

Previously, 27 year old star Swift had limited her tracks only to Apple Music, having persuaded the company to alter its stance on artist royalties.

After very publicly removing most of her music from streaming services that weren't Apple Music back in 2014, Taylor Swift is bringing her albums back to Spotify, Tidal, and more at midnight. With that, Swift had the removal of all her albums from the rest of the streaming services. Apple reserved the decision, and Swift later appeared in ads for Apple Music.

"It's my opinion that music should not be free, and my prediction is that individual artists and their labels will someday decide what an album's price point is", she continued.

Perry recently confirmed the long-rumored rift while guesting on a Carpool Karaoke segment with James Corden on "The Late Late Show".

Perry, meanwhile, released new album "Witness" the same day, setting the two singers at odds once again. "SHAAAAAADE", while another added: "I think we all can agree Taylor Swift is the most immature artist of all time [sic]".

"I mean, I'm not Buddha-things irritate me", she said.

One thing is for sure: If and when that record arrives, you'll have to pay to hear it.
